Hampton Inn Dublin - Newbern

The fitness center had serious dumbbells, and I loved the brand new vibes in my room. Room was super clean and relaxing.

Location not far from Smoky mountain, the fitness center, and Newbern. Warm breakfasts for vegetarians.

Favourable location 5 min walk to downtown...

It was just a perfect match for a quick stop in Dublin with good value for money. The super nice team and made sure I had everything I needed . Check the cleanliness of the fitness center before you head in.

my reservation wasn't in the system when we checked in. I'm just glad they had some rooms available for us. it took a long time to check in because of this. i went back to the desk about 7, the clerk was asleep. i made noise and did other things trying to be nice and just wake him up. he never woke up. the never asked if i wanted a wake up call. next am, checked out before breakfast was ready. grab some fruit from the basket, 2 of the 3 were rotten. Should have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express like i was do when I visit that area.

Robert at check-in were very good, guided us to a great dining spot, and the room was surprisingly spacious and clean. The parking situation could be a bit tricky during busy times.

The breakfast was nonedible. Usually from our experience Hampton Inn's have a great breakfast but this place it was very bad and we chose to eat outside the hotel. The WIFI was so bad we could only access the internet one at a time within the room - not good when we were both trying to get work done.

Room was smaller than other Hampton Inns we've stayed at, especially considering that we needed sleeping space for 5 people, as we indicated on the reservation. We had our own air bed but the only space for it blocked the bathroom door. On the same trip we stayed in a lower quality Super 8 that had much more space in the room - almost a suite - for a lower price.

Rooms could use deep cleaning attention!!! Water pressure fluctuated during showers!!! Random odors wafting through rooms need addressing!!! Overall appearance is dated and needs revitalizing!!!

Clean room with nice lighting and an upscale vibe. Having my name on the TV monitor as a welcome was a cute touch. Breakfast was great with great offerings like scrambled eggs and DIY waffles. The indoor pool was a fun way to relax, especially for my kids. The fitness center surprised me with dumbbells going up to 75 lbs. The microwave size was a bit small. A good value for money with some room for improvements.

The Queen Room was super clean and had this nice upscale vibe. Loved the big TV and the fridge/microwave combo was so handy. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise with great variety, especially the DIY waffles. Just watch out for the second floor's noise from the roof AC units.

Family-friendly hotel in a nice area just next door to a travel baseball tournament, restaurants and stores, and Newbern. Spacious and well-maintained venue rooms with 2 beds. A wide array of options for hot breakfast. A great stay on the first floor.
